From a laboratory sample to a continuous membrane
Scale the process around material delivery, deposition and collection.
Enlarge image ↗Solution flow is not fiber output
A value in mL/h describes liquid processing. Dry-fiber output also depends on solids concentration, deposition efficiency and material losses. Define how output will be measured before comparing production systems.
Check deposition across the full width
Needle arrangement, scanning motion, feed stability and the collection surface act together. Evaluate membrane thickness and structure at different positions instead of relying on one local sample.
Plan the complete run
For long runs, consider solution replenishment, collector capacity, take-up, cleaning and access for maintenance. A continuous process needs these parts to work together.
