Planning your electrospinning system
Four questions that make a configuration discussion more useful.
1. Define the material
Specify the polymer, solvent or melt, concentration and available viscosity data. This helps determine the feeding method, wetted materials, temperature control and ventilation requirements.
2. Describe the sample
Include membrane width or tube dimensions, target thickness, fiber orientation and any supporting substrate. For direct writing, include the pattern, fiber spacing and intended number of layers.
3. Define the development stage
Separate exploratory research from a validated production process. Tell us the required run time, sample quantity and available installation space so that feeding and collection can be sized appropriately.
4. Agree the configuration
List the required modules and the criteria for evaluating a sample. Confirm standard items, optional modules, installation interfaces and documentation in the final quotation.
Tell us what you want to make.
Share your material, target structure and sample size. We can discuss a suitable platform and configuration.
